Multiple accidents along Aba road, Port Harcourt (Photos)

The accident which occurred around 6:15 this morning around St. Johns Bus stop, was caused by a Conoil tanker carrying diesel. According to eye witnesses, the tanker was coming down the hill from Garrison when its content suddenly started gushing out, filling up the road, causing it to be slippery. The tanker was on the speed-lane, thus incoming cars on high speed lost control and their brakes failed, as the road was said to be very slippery.

Members of the TIMA RIV and the Rivers state fire service took control of the situation as soon as it happened. About 8 vehicles were involved in the accident. Injured motorists were rushed to the hospital, but no death was reported.  More photos when you continue...

D'Banj Made Me; Without Him I Would Have Wasted My Skills –Don Jazzy

Nigeria's leading music producer, Don Jazzy, went online recently to give honour to those due, especially those he said have influenced his career thus far.

After paying his first respect to 2Face, he thanked JJC with a post, "Kudos to JJC for without him, I would still be doing 'tungba' (local) music. [I am] not saying that it (tungba music) is not good. But I found out I was better doing something else."

Giving credits to his former partner, D'Banj, Don Jazzy has this to say, "KUDOS to my bro, D'Banj for without him, my production skills I gathered from JJC might have been a waste. Dude made me Don Jazzy."

He went ahead to honour others like Wande Coal, D'Prince, etc.

2 workers found at the bottom of a pool in a Chinese-owned company in Lagos

So, I got this email last week from a guy who said his friend's brother who worked for a Chinese company died in the company's pool sometime last week.

He said the young factory worker decided to sleep over at the company and the following evening, his body and that of another colleague were found inside the company's swimming pool, with blood coming out of their ears, nostrils, and mouth. They say they suspect foul play.

I didn't put up the story at the time because I wanted to get more info. The new info I have now are the names of the dead men, the name of the company and the address. I will leave the company's name out of this for now because most of the police stations contacted around the area about this case said they are not aware of it...as no one has reported it. The company is situated at Rev Ogunbiyi Str., Ikeja and the names of the dead men are: Imhonbhio Martins Odion from Ewohimi, Edo state and Richard Dada from Ugoja Rivers State.

A trusted reporter friend of mine is working on the story and as soon as I get details, I will definitely update you all. Continue to see the dead workers being pulled out of the pool...but *viewers discretion advised*

Happy birthday to 2face Idibia

WTF!! Abuja Big Girl Dies After Sex With Her Boyfriend's Dog

An Accountancy part time student of a Federal University, Uche (surname withheld), was one of the happening babes in Abuja, the federal capital territory, although she likes doing her things in her own little way.

In fact, a lot of her course mates doesn't know much about her because she was quiet and she doesn't talk to anyone in her class. She's from Imo State; her father is late while her mother stays in the village.

We gathered that, she is from a poor back ground but struggled to make ends meet and to also send her younger ones to school, through the money she got from her many men friends.

Uche stayed with her friend in a duplex around Wuse 2, before she met a guy, Roland, who changed her life completely. One of Uche's friends revealed to us how she confessed before she breathed her last, about 2 months ago.

Uche, we learnt, met the America based guy in a restaurant in Abuja. Roland spoilt her silly with money and gift; he even bought her an exotic car and promised to marry her. She was very happy that she has finally met the man of her dreams, especially considering the fact that the guy also hails from the same place with her.

Few weeks after Uche met Roland, she started spending almost every day with him. Roland spent 6 weeks in Nigeria before going back to the United States; he even gave Uche an engagement ring that she flaunts before her friends.

Uche kept most of the things she shared with Roland to herself until she fell ill and went to about 3 hospitals, where she was told there was nothing wrong with her. One of her friends who stayed with her, later took her to a white garment church in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja.

The Prophet, we gathered, saw vision about her predicament and advised Uche to confess what has happened to her or else she will die. Initially she didn't want to talk but after much persuasion from her friends, she did.

She said Roland likes adventure, so he suggested they should do some nasty things. She said Roland had a dog he cherishes, and he suggested she sleeps with the dog while he watches her. She said she didn't want to do it, but later she had sex with the dog.

Her friend further revealed that Uche was angry after the sex with dog show, but Roland begged her and gave her a car key (Infinity Jeep), assuring her nothing will happen to her. Roland left the country the following day, and promised to start processing her papers to come to the United States once he gets back to U.S.

Uche's friend and the prophet called the guy but the number didn't exist. They also asked her for the address of Roland's house in Abuja but they couldn't trace it either.

The Prophet advised she should be taking back home while she beg God to save her, because she has been used for rituals... Uche died few days later.

IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT LADIES COULD STILL BE TRICKED INTO SUCH!

Nollywood Actor Jailed For Having Sex With A Man

Nigeria's law against gay practice claimed its first victim in the federal capital territory, Abuja on Monday, Olufamous.com gathered.

According to reports, 28-year old actor, Bestwood Chukwuemeka was on Monday sentenced to prison by a Magistrate Court in Abuja for having sexual intercourse with another man through the anus.

At first he pleaded not guilty before accepting the crime. In his words; "I am guilty of the charge against me. I was under the influence of alcohol and I want the court to temper justice with mercy," he pleaded.

The police prosecutor, Mohammed Umar, had told the court that the convict committed the offence in August when the complainant was sleeping in his bed. Homosexual acts, the prosecutor said, was contrary to Section 284 of the Penal Code.

After listening to both parties, the Senior Magistrate tempered justice with mercy and sentenced the actor to three months imprisonment, but without an option of fine

Why I sent Stephanie Packing' - Rev Chris Okotie

Since ending his four year marriage to Stephanie Henshaw in June this year, Pastor Chris Okotie has never really opened up about what led to his decision to end his marriage. There has been a lot of speculations in the media and he finally decided to react to some of it. He gave an exclusive interview to City People magazine through a minister in his church, Rev Grace Funmi Paul, a member of House Hold of God for the past 25 years. It's a long interview but I'm just going to pick some parts I think might interest you all. See it below...
Rev Grace Paul: A blind person knows that my pastor loved his wife, Stephanie, passionately. This year before the separation, he had taken her out of the country at least three times to different places like Dubai, US and so on. He loved her, so did the congregation but the bible says that two cannot walk together except they agree. In the establishment of the kingdom of God, the rules change because the rules are made by God and not by man. So, it didn't have to do with what pastor wanted to do, because left to him, his love will keep him struggling and going at it but if God gives him instruction he has to follow it through.
City People: If I get you correctly, it was Jesus instructions for Pastor Chris to part ways with Stephanie?
Rev Grace: Let me give you a precedent. In the bible, there's a queen called Queen Vershti of Persia. The king invited his wife and said - come woman, I want to show you off to my people and the woman had an attitude. She had pride issues. It was at that point she said to the king "Excuse me, I am making up, how can you be humiliating me by telling me to come and sit down so that people can be looking at me." So she refused and the people of the kingdom rose up against her, and they said the king must let her go, and that was how Esther came in. That is the principle of The Kingdom. In the two cases of my pastor's former wives, it was an abdication of roles. One was a physical abdication, and the other was a spiritual abdication. In the matters of the Kingdom of God, when you abdicate your position, your position will be taken over, because the calling my pastor has, he is not called to work alone (Linda says - get ready for another pastor Okotie wedding hehe)

CP: In Stephanie's case, was it a case of spiritual or physical abdication?
Rev Grace: Her case was spiritual abdication, but either ways it amounts to the same thing, because the scripture states clearly that if unbelieving departs, let him depart, you are not bound.

CP: Any efforts to patch things up?
Rev Grace: Spiritual things can not be patched up. When there are two people who are not the same kind, it is not a matter of patching up.

CP: So is the congregation happy that the pastor is single again and is there any plans to replace Stephanie?
Rev Grace: The congregation is not in the position to replace Stephanie. My pastor is a full grown man, and he knows what he's doing. In the case of our pastor's first wife, she insisted that where she wanted to do her church work was in the US. As for Stephanie, I cannot be intruding. As much as I am authorised to do what I am doing, I can't disrespect my pastor and Stephanie. If I begin to give you some details, they would amount to disrespect. My pastor has insisted that they want to keep it private.

CP: Pastor Chris once said that the instruction to marry Stephanie was from God
Rev Grace: If you know my pastor, he is a passionate person. They had a long time relationship before they got married. My pastor is particularly careful about beautiful women because he knows that the devil desires them. So when a beautiful woman has issues in church, he ministers to them, and because he does that, people jump to the conclusion that he sleeps with them, which is not true. Just like Queen Ure, pastor has never had an affair with her, will never have an affair with her because they are not of the same kind (Linda says - What does 'not of the same kind' mean?). Ure was pastoring her own church, until she became bored."

Ex- Interior Minister arrested over alleged oil theft

Former Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho was on Friday arrested over his alleged involvement in the hijack of a vessel said to be carrying suspected stolen petroleum products.

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Mr. Patrick Akpobolokemi who disclosed the arrest said that the search for the sponsors of these pirates has led to the tracing of the stolen products to Integrated oil and Gas Limited tank farm owned by the Captain Iheanacho.

Akpobolokemi who represented by NIMASA’s Executive Director in charge of maritime labour services and Cabotage Barr. Obi Nwabueze said that the premise of the company has been sealed off pending investigation.

According to him NIMASA has realised that there are the kingpins and the big men who facilitate piracy adding the agency in collaboration with other security operatives will unravel the people behind the sale, purchase and storage of the stolen products.

“You recalled we had cause to parade some pirates here and we did say that we were going to continue to look for those who were behind these pirates because we came to the realisation that behind the facade there are the kingpins and the big men who facilitate piracy.

“So in line with our promise to the Nigerian public, we intensified our search for the big men behind the scene and we are happy to tell you today that we have been able to trace them to a company, a major company integrated oil and gas.

“The products that were stolen from the activities of piracy were conveyed and stored at integrated oil and gas. As we speak we have sealed off the company and we have arrested the top management of the company” Akpobolokemi stated.

Jonathan's Wife "Disappearance" From Nigeria Is A Shame

Clarification has been demanded from the Presidency over the whereabouts and health status of Patience, wife of President Goodluck Jonathan.

While the First Lady, Patience, is said to be hospitalised in a German hospital, the Presidency said “she was only away to take a moment’s rest given that she has not taken a rest since President Jonathan’s election last year”.

But in an interview with reporters in Ilorin on Sunday, the ACN National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, insisited that Nigerians had the right to know the true postion of the President’s wife.

Mohammed said, “She is the First Lady and as such there are certain duties she performs. Her wellbeing, to a large extent, is also the wellbeing of the nation, especially these days when the office is not just a glamour office; it packs a lot of power and influence.

“When our First Lady disappears from the radar, so to say, for several weeks and nobody can tell us precisely where she is and what she is doing, I think it is a shame to the whole country.

“I do not see anything strange or undignifying in saying that ‘the First Lady had food poison, we are to fly her abroad for treatment and we will keep you informed of her daily welfare.’

“That will elicit a lot of support and Nigerians had shown in the past that irrespective of what they think about their leaders, when their leaders in the past had health problems, there was this outpouring of emotions.

“I think the handling of this matter is wrong and we must tell our information managers that ministers, governors and presidents and their wives are no longer the property of a small clique.

“They showed that they have no respect for us. I think whoever is in charge of managing information should come out today and tell Nigerians precisely where our First Lady is and what is wrong with her.”

Man caught with dead baby in a suitcase

Don't have the full details yet but according to people who sent me the photos, this man was caught at Tipper garage near Gwarimpa in Abuja yesterday with a dead baby stuffed in a suitcase. They said he was arrested on a tip off...but another source said that the conductor of the bus he entered asked him to bring his suitcase so it can be stored properly and the man vehemently refused. The suspicious conductor asked him what was inside the suitcase and he refused to say. As the man tried to leave the bus, the conductor and others seized the suitcase from him and found the dead boy inside.

Like I said, I don't have all the details...but will try to find out! How anybody can do this to a child...God forgive us!

God Told Me Nigeria Will Break Before 2015; Says Rev. Anthony

Nigeria seems to be on the brink if the ethnic groups that make up the geographic expression do not come together urgently to discuss the way out of her many crises.

This, Olufamous.com gathered, is according to the prophesy of the General Overseer of Kings in Christ Int'l Ministries, Rev. Anthony Chris, in a recent interview.

The cleric declared that God has revealed to him the future of Nigeria. He also foresaw the country splitting into three different parts within the next three years.

In the words of Rev Anthony: “I see Nigeria splitting into three countries, the way things are going, unless this trend is arrested or God intervenes, within the space of two, three years Nigeria will split. If you are saying that this is the North’s agenda, I am not even surprised.

"I am not saying this based on what America said, but what God has showed me, and if we don’t come together to seek His face, this country will split before 2015.”

Fuel scarcity returns to Lagos: Scarcity to persist, NNPC says

Long queues have returned to filling stations in Lagos and the National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) hinted yesterday that it may take some time to disappear.

NNPC spokesman, Mr Fidel Pepple, said the scarcity is 'artificial', and was triggered by the destruction of the NNPC's pipeline at Arepo, Ogun State. He said bunkerers attacked the pipeline in Ibafo, Ogun State, to scoop fuel and also shot and killed three PPMC engineers and technicians deployed to repair the vandalized pipeline.

According to Pepple, the development has forced NNPC to bridge products by truck as against the pipeline and said the repairs of the vandalized pipeline may take a while as the corporation is not ready to risk the lives of more officials.

At Last Boko Haram Commander "Abu Qaqa" Arrested In Kano

In a significant victory by Nigerian security operatives against the Boko Haram militant group, top commanders of the sect have been arrested after security operatives carried out a successful raid against the sect in Kano.

Sources in the SSS say Abu Qaqa, the sect’s spokesman and other top commanders were arrested when the Kano State Joint Task Force, JTF, carried out a sweeping raid on the sect’s hide-outs in Kano State.

The Kano JTF has confirmed the raid and the arrests but could not confirm the identity of the other arrested Boko-Haram leaders.

However, independent sources have said the sect’s spokesman, Abu Qaqa was one of those arrested. It was learnt that the non-disclosure of the details of the arrested officers was because the arrested members were refusing to co-operate with security operatives.

The Federal Government is also being careful about disclosing the names of the arrested officials apparently for fear of embarrassment, the type it suffered earlier in the year when the government disclosed that Abu Qaqa, the sect’s commander/spokesman had been arrested, and it turned out to be false.

When she was contacted, spokesperson for the SSS, Marilyn Ogar, refused to comment

My Fiancé Can't Satisfy Me With Sex; If We Get Married It May Not Last

I am dating a very nice guy, 4 years older than me. I am 28 years old. We were friends and knew each other for a period of time before deciding to become lovers. I moved from Abuja to be with him in Lagos and he got me a well paying job in a top business firm on the Island.

He later proposed to me earlier this year and I accepted because I love him and he is a good man. Now my problem is this, the SEX!!

Since we started being intimate and having sex, I have NEVER had an orgasm with him during penetration! He has never been able to make me climax with his penis. He keeps thrusting for more than 30 minutes and I just want him to get it over already and let me sleep. I have talked to him about it, and he even asks me after he ejaculates, if I came. I always say "almost did."

I am a VERY physical and sexual person, and I request sex twice a day (not mandatory). But I get horny A LOT! Sometimes he tells me he is not in the mood to go again. I know he cares about making me feel good and satisfy me, because anytime I tell him what direction/position I want, he listens and obeys. But I still can’t climax. I do love it though when he uses his fingers, I actually climax if it's his fingers but not his penis! And no his penis is not small or big. It is moderate and okay for me, I don't like huge tools that rip me open abeg.

He has some weight on him and a bit of what we call "pot belly." And sometimes that gets in the way, especially when I want to do it sitting down. His belly covers the tool so we always end up lying down. How do I tell him all this without bruising his ego?

I have been thinking if this how sex will be for the rest of my life? I want to know if I'm the only lady that can't have an orgasm?? Am I sick and lone in this?

PHOTO: Another Wife Abandons House Work For Husband

This is fast becoming a trend among some wives in major Nigerian cities. Many guys are not happy with this picture, they believe it is contrary to African culture for a husband to take up such roles like baby sitting in the home.

Some even say it is only men whose wives have giving "something" to eat that will do such house works while their women call the shots.

On the other hand, ladies are saying men must share the house work with them 50/50 since they also go out to work in order to support the family.

Please, should our men be comfortable in doing these stuffs at home? And what is the place of African culture in all these

BlackBerry Prostitution Reigns In Nigeria; To Cause Brain Tumour, Insomnia

As more Nigerians rely on the Blackberry phones for business and social networking, the level of addiction to the device is becoming more worrisome to people's health. It's addiction could be worse than drug addiction, AABlog gathered.

BB phone is not only becoming an indispensable tool for high flying Nigerians, the increasing demand for BB and current fad as a status symbol could result in widespread health hazards for Nigerians.

According to a report by Kunle Azzez, ICT Correspondent, Gbenga Arowora’s life revolves round his blackberry phone. He clutches it firmly all day and never for one moment lets it slip away from his firm grip until midnight when he places it carefully by his pillow as he finally goes to bed. The blackberry is his most dependable partner, a partner he must consult for all his businesses and a partner which also serves as a veritable link with his contacts around the world. Like most high-flying Nigerians, Arowora is addicted to the blackberry.

A recent survey revealed there are over 200,000 Nigerians already hooked on the blackberry now regarded as the most effective and efficient communication tool for business executives and also for staying connected to friends, relatives and associates on personal levels. Blackberry was originally manufactured for accessing emails while on the move but has since become a reliable integrated wireless communications platform. As it catches on fast among Nigerians, Blackberry is becoming so addictive that owners may need to be weaned off them with treatment similar to that given to drug users.

In what seems like a confirmation of a recent study by the New Jersey’s Rutgers University School, Blackberry is fuelling a rise in email and internet addiction, with sufferers able to survive only a few minutes without checking for new mail. Indeed, Arowora confessed that he is mostly unaware of people and events around him whenever he’s using the gadget. Now he even wakes up at night to chat with friends as his BB beeps all night.

Arowora is not alone. Mutiu Adeyemi, a banker told said he and his colleagues now rely on the BB to perform their daily tasks. He said his bank encouraged employees to buy the phone through a special in-house scheme “in order for us to be more efficient as we are able to work as if we are in the office for it helps to attend to assignments more quickly and easily.” This, of course, means they have to continue working even at home at odd hours.

Investigation reveals that the demand for BB is on the increase throughout Nigeria. This trend was confirmed by the Business Development Manager, Slots Systems Limited, one of the biggest phone retail outlets in the country, Mr. Patrick Egbulefu. According to him, more Nigerians now throng the company’s outlets daily requesting for BB, a situation he described as not surprising because of the enticing features of the phone.

Now, the BB has become a status symbol gadget in Nigeria as it has been turned into an index for measuring class status. Investigation reveals it is also being linked to criminal activities in the country. For instance, apart from its widespread use among business executives, political office holders and a number of celebrities in the country, some young Nigerian ladies have become so addicted to the use of the device that a minute parting with the gadget seems like dismembering them.

Their addiction to the device and desire to go extra miles to own a Blackberry phone was captured in a Nollywood film titled: Blackberry Babes by Simony Pictures. The movie, which runs part 1 and part 2, is a hilarious exposition of the Nigerian reality and growing BB addiction.

It is the story of a group of university friends, all female, whose social and private lives are centred on the supposedly fascinating world of BB phones. Unable to fund their addiction, the girls rely on rich men to buy them the latest models. But phones, money and other treats come at a price: In return, the girls offer these men sex and/or companionship and the whole thing turns into a rather pathetic competition – the aim being to get the latest Blackberry model before everyone else and “flaunt” it wherever they go. The use of Blackberry phones as a tool for prostitution and other licentious activities is another negative development that has become a reality in Nigeria today.

A Lagos-based female National Youth Service Corps member, who pleaded anonymity recalled how some of her friends fraternised with the so-called big men just to acquire Blackberry phones. “After acquiring the BB, they venture into some funny games by posting their Blackberry PIN numbers to social networking sites for prospective customers and as expected, they receive calls from clients and soon begin to chat endlessly until the men are hooked. My friends have since been dating the rich men who carry them from one hotel to another and also contract them to their male friends in exchange for money which they (the Blackberry girls) use to settle their monthly internet access fees.

"At times, they would take x-rated pictures of themselves and circulate to prospective clients through their BB. They are making a lot of money now. I have since kept away from them because I cannot cope with their current ‘status’. I don’t have a Blackberry and I can’t imagine myself indulging in such a dirty game,” the female Corps member stressed
