Why Some Pastors, Others Sleep Around

An article by Ayvaunn Penn at All Christian News talks about why preachers, and everyone else, might choose to sleep around. Of course, not every pastor is a cheater, but we know that there are quite a few cases where this is true.

The researchers talk about the reasons that your spouse might step out, some of which are avoidable. Penn’s article also gives advice from black Christian perspective, which is more complicated than the simple rule which says, “If they cheat, you’re gone.”

She says that in spite of what the experts might say about your relationship, how you address infidelity in your marriage is up to you.

One of the things to keep in mind is that a good way to have a mate who is tempted to cheat is to ignore that person’s needs for emotional and other forms of attention. Not being responsive to the needs of your mate might tempt them to have their needs fulfilled elsewhere. The researchers also say that the creation of emotional distance can cause people to be unfaithful. We would argue that being selective about your mate beforehand can benefit you tremendously. You should spend at least a couple of years observing your mate’s character in a multitude of contexts in order to determine if they have true Christian values or are just talking the talk.

There is also the little issue of technology. Facebook, Twitter, texting and everything else allows people to remain connected over long periods of time and across long distances. This can lead to outcomes that might not have occurred had the connection never been made in the first place. The experts talk about how social media can be the reason for many people to have options they might not have had before. Pastor Carl J. Mimms III, pastor of the Freedom Tabernacle of Praise Church in Indianapolis, once sued his cell phone company for releasing his phone records to his wife, who then confronted him about his cheating in front of both the church and his children. So, these situations can get messy, which is why preachers' wives now have their own reality show.

Ayvaunn Penn says the rest:
It is a harsh truth, but no one is perfect. Not only are fornicators in the pews, they are in the pulpit, too. Many wonder why that is. Well, there are 1,200 psychotherapists, counselors, coaches and other helping professionals, who believe they know the answer, and these specialists comprise Your Tango.com – the leading online organization specializing in love and relationships.

The first thing their specialists say is that sex is not the number one reason for cheating. Although it ranks second, emotional discontentment is actually the number one reason for infidelity among both the ladies and the gents. Fret not, however, because there is a solution for this relationship malady according to Dr. Susan Heitler. She explains:

“While there are many factors that can lead to an extramarital sexual encounter, emotional distance is one that couples can prevent. If there’s been distress, dissension or too much distance, take a marriage ed class to learn how to stay more comfortably connected.”

I’m having hot sex with bored wife next door. How can i Stop?

I'm in love with a beautiful woman and she feels the same about me, but she’s twice my age and lives right next door with her husband and son.

I’m 21 and she’s 42. I met her the day I moved back from uni. I haven’t found work so I've ended up back with my parents. It’s not what I planned but it’s cheap.

I was off to the shops when she stopped at her gate and said, “Hi.” My parents had said I was moving back home so she knew who I was. We chatted a while and we clicked straight away. She’s small...
and sweet with big blue eyes and a body I wanted to wrap myself round from the start.

She said she looks after the house and her 10-year-old son but she joked that they don’t see too much of his dad. He works long hours in town and likes to spend weekends shut up in his study or out playing golf. It didn’t sound much of a marriage to me.

I came home one day to find her outside her house in the rain, while she searched through her handbag again and again for her key. My parents were both out at work so of course I invited her in.

I made her some tea and we sat on the sofa and talked. She told me her husband ignores her and she said that she’d leave if she could. She looked really sad and I gave her a hug. It quickly turned into a kiss and then we had hot sex on the floor.

We meet and have sex now as much as we can. We’re deeply in love but I’m worried that I’ve no home and no money for her and her son.

Ailing Taraba Governor Danbaba Suntai makes 1st public appearance

More than two months after crashing his plane near Yola airport, ailing Taraba State governor, Danbaba Suntai, has made his first public appearance...not physically but in a photo recently released by people in his administration which shows him carrying one of the twins his wife delivered December 6th.

The photo was taken in the restaurant of a German hospital where the governor has been receiving treatment for multiple fractures following the plane crash.

Some people feel that the photos were released to show the governor was doing well and prevent his deputy, Garba Umara, who is now acting Governor, from being sworn in as governor after some media sites claimed Suntai had suffered severe brain damage following the crash.

FG to procure 10 million handsets worth N60billion for farmers

The Federal Government is to spend about N60 billion to procure 10million telephone handsets from China and the US for free distribution to rural farmers across the country.

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs Ibukun Odusote, said the handsets would be made available to the farmers in the first quarter of this year.

She said the programme is aimed at establishing direct electronic communication between the government and farmers on agricultural matters, adding that the beneficiaries would be “women and youths” in rural areas.
“The handsets will be the tools with which to communicate with the farmers in the rural areas, deep deep into the interiors so that we will be able to communicate with them even in the hinterlands.”
Jeez, this country! N60billion to buy handsets? What are they buying, BlackBerry Porsche phones? Lol. And did the farmers say that their problem is a mobile phone? I don't understand this our government...

TB Joshua's 2013 predictions

For those of you who are into predictions. Here's another one from Prophet T. B. Joshua. He has released his seven predictions for 2013. See it below...
1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbour: Reward those who help you succeed now.

Yakowa’s Wife To Emerge As Deputy Governor

The widow of the late governor of Kaduna State, Mrs Amina Elizabeth Yakowa, is set to emerge the deputy governor of the state following the death of her husband in a helicopter crash on Saturday.

The plan to tap Amina as the deputy to the newly sworn-in governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, is being championed by northern governors across party divide, top northern politicians and governors from other regions of the country with the aim of sustaining Yekowa’s legacies.

Those promoting the move to install Yakowa’s wife could meet with President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo later this week.

The insisted that Mrs Yakowa was the best candidate for the position. She was a former deputy director at the Ministry of Defence and only retired after her husband became governor.

The promoters said they were also inspired by the example of the wife of the former Senate President, Mrs Margery Okadigbo, who emerged to take over her husband’s slot in the Senate. They also alluded to the recent example of a former Senator from Plateau State, Sen. Gyang Dantong, who was similarly succeeded by his wife, after he was killed by gunmen at a funeral in the state.

Mrs Yakowa was born on May 20, 1953 in Kwoi, Jaba Local Government of Kaduna State.

An educationist, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Your Baby Does Not Look Like Me At All – Dino Replies Bisi Ibidapo

The saga continues! While actress Bisi Ibidapo is telling whoever cares to listen that former House of Reps member, Dino Melaye is the father of her new baby, the man was said to have told some friends recently that he doesn't know where Bisi got her pregnancy from.

See how Dino reacted to the new baby drama below:
"Don't joke with such a serious issue. I don't know where she got the pregnancy from, the baby doesn't look like me, I can bet it. I am sure DNA will exonerate me from this ugly scenario."

Obviously someone is lying among this two 'strange' lovers.

PDP Won't Escape Defeat In 2015 as ACN, CPC, ANPP Form Party

The three major opposition political parties in Nigeria - Action Congress of Nigeria, Congress for Progressive Change and the All Nigeria Peoples Party – are set to drop their identities by early 2013, all things being equal.

The merger of the parties is one of the strategies being canvassed by top politicians to defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party which has dominated power since the advent of the present democratic dispensation in 1999.

Analysts had always believed that a genuine and honest cooperation among major opposition parties for the 2015 general elections would make the election tough for the PDP.

“We have passed through this before when we were All Peoples Party and then Action Congress too, before it became ACN.

“The difference now is to pass a resolution and all this will be simultaneously done (by the three parties) and we will inform INEC about it. When that is done, INEC has no choice than to register your new identity,” said Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, Chairman of the ANPP National Rebuilding and Interparty Contact Committee.

In the alternative, he said the parties might decide to adopt the name of one of the existing political parties while the remaining two would dissolve into the adopted one.

Asked if they've learnt any lesson from their failed ambition to merge in 2011, Shekarau said ‘Yes’
